ABOUT ME: A small summary of a diverse mix of customer service, sales, and technology is listed below. The advantages of my work history include learning to adapt to change in technology, management styles and to effectively handle many different types of customers on many levels.

Customer Service: waitress, movie ticket seller, grocery store seafood counter, catering weddings, and more, gas station attendant to name a few.

Sales: Provided computer services and my own rental home painting contracts.

Amazon – CLE3 Euclid, OH

FC Associate – packer, vendor returns, counter, gift wrapper, and inductor in packing and shipping departments – I am no longer capable of ongoing general labor work after working at Amazon.

  • Packed thousands of customer packages, including Christmas gifts, with hopes of helping customers and gift recipients feel a little happier when opening their packages. My high-quality standard influenced 1000s of positive comments online at the Amazon.com website.

  • I posted red “heavy” labels on packages to assist with notifying anyone (co-workers, delivery drivers, customers) who handled the package to do so safely.

  • Worked in the vendor return department processing several types of product returns for vendors. I also scanned and graded damaged products to be relisted in the Amazon marketplace.

  • Separated products for order processing on the conveyor

  • Gained experience with the tape machine, bar code sticker dispenser, customer receipt machine, several bar code styles, scanner display information, and large dunnage (bubble wrap) machine.

  • In one of the departments, I checked the battery power capacity of all the batteries for the scanners and made sure they were being charged at the end of the shift.

  • Operated a floor jack to unload the pods that the products will be stored in.

  • Handled totes of various weights with a diverse amount of products in them during several processing jobs.

  • I do not know why I was let go without having access to my personal work-related physical evidence that shows all of the many variables that were part of the job during whichever date and time frame that is in question in order to analyze it.

Amazon – CLE5 Twinsburg, OH

FC Associate

  • Sorted and scanned packages that came from CLE3 and other Amazon facilities. They were then sorted onto pallets, gaylord, or mailbags for distribution to trucks that deliver them to package delivery companies for customer delivery all over the world.

  • The job required a scanner so I made sure all of the battery chargers had a scanner battery properly on them and charging for the next shift.

  • Transferred to the Euclid location in order to work longer hours.

  • Coordinated with DISA on connectivity issues to military bases and ships.

  • Used several technical tools for many daily tasks on the network.

  • After earning all of my Microsoft certifications on my own without any company assistance, I was wrongfully terminated because my new boss did not like me. I went through a very long hiring process from January 1998 to August 1998 because I thought this job was a long-term career position in my technical field.

  • Serviced and supported 50+ users on Windows 95 clients/Windows NT 3.51 server network.

  • Configured the field service support laptops.

  • This was a temporary contract that ended right before working for Unisys.

  • Converted token ring to ethernet network at the DFAS Cleveland Center.

  • Swapped out PCs and then transferred data to new workstations.

  • In January 1998 I had a pedestrian (myself) vs car accident outside of the building while with the group that ended up as a Worker’s Compensation case so after the contract ended in March no other contracts were offered. It was a second shoulder injury and is a permanent problem even after two surgeries.
